My wife and I will be coming to Perth next year for a 3 month visit to my daughter, who is resident there. As renting a fully set up flat for 3 months does just not seem viable I was wondering if a “house swap” might be an option … preferably with another retiree.

I have a two bedroom fully furnished flat on the beachfront in Cape Town that I can swap for the use of a furnished flat or similar in Perth. Could even include pet sitting either way (we have a cat) and car use… though I guess that is getting a bit out on a limb.

Anyway, has anyone ever tried anything like this, got any (constructive) thoughts or can suggest how I can pursue it?
