Now just where is that embarrassed smilie??? I haven't tried to contact Merseyside for a while so cannot say whats what.

What problem have you been having??? Are they not answering, not connecting etc ??? I have tried the number and it rings but no answer (not surprising as it is 8pm but at least it connects).

They have a fax number which is 0151 236 0871 so you could try sending them a fax. If need be the number of the underwriters is 0161 932 1009 and they are Manchester Marine Underwriters. The underwriters web site is www.manchestermarine.co.uk so you could always try them direct. In fact thinking about it that might not be a bad idea as they may be able to give other brokers that sell the policy.

Let me know either by email or PM just what your outcome is.

I spoke to the guy last week and he said he was sending me the forms, a week on and they're not here ! Yes it's cheap but he was a bit vague and doesn’t seem as professional as the other people we have spoke to.
I think we will pay that little bit more and stick with our original people.

When I spoke to Brian Naughton he was really helpful and I got the paperwork from them the next day.

As I said it maybe worth trying them again or even going straight to the underwriters from the link I posted above. More info for people:

Their registered company number is: 3702586 and they are a member of General Insurance Standards Council (No. 7869).

All this info has come from the documentation that I got from Merseyside Insurance.
