Can't believe it!!!
Oh my god
Just got phone call from our agent's to say that Adelaide have requested our medicals/police checks. We weren't expecting this so quickly!! They only received our application on the 5th Nov.
Panicking now, must get house on market etc. etc.
Anyone else had this requested so quickly?? Perhaps they've made a mistake...
Bloody excited though :scared:

We are going under skills designated area, family sponsored.
Hubby is an electrician, so maybe they are desperate for them at the moment?!

Ours was a similar story.
We applied in July and were asked for our medicals, police checks in August.
It then took 8 weeks, after we had all the relevant information sent off, for the yellow envelope to arrive telling us we were successful.
Luckily we sold the house to the first viewer and are very close to exchanging contracts.
We leave for Brisbane on Feb 21st.
10 weeks and counting!
Good luck.

Do you mind me asking what category you applied under?
Brisbane doesn't come under designated areas does it?

We're going that route and ours didn't take much longer.
The application was received 21st August , medicals requested early October .Once recieved it should take 6-8 weeks before your assurers bond is requested . On recipet of that it takes two weeks to get the grant letter.
We had notice to post the bond a couple of weeks ago - not yet done it, but am doing it!!
I'm in IT.
