Canberra Meet Up - lets get organised then
About time we stopped talking about a meet up and got on with it - don't you think?
Have added a poll to ascertain the best suited day for the meet up. when the day has been agreed - then we can agree on time and place.

I'm supposed to be on all homes looking for rentals not on this site!
Arrived 4 days ago,currently staying in Kingston in serviced appartments for another 2 weeks ish... until we find somewhere more permanent.
We're just busy getting sorted, otherwise nothing planned!

There's a nice chinese in Kingston called Portia's Place? Delicious!

OK I have heard back from various expats in Canberra and the venues I have been made aware of are:-
The Mawson Club
Holenic Club
Southern Cross Club
all these have areas to eat and drink and also cater for children with a fun style room where the kids can play.
anyone else have any venue ideas?

Here is some info on the Mawson club - sounds good for the small ones - and also if you are interested, on a Wednesay they have special entertainment arranged for small ones!
