Canberra info please
 

Hi, It seems not a lot of posts about Canberra,and i understand not many folk going there,but we're hoping to be there after Xmas and was wondering if anyone had any advice on cost of living etc.
How much tax we pay on earnings, gas/electric bills etc and is it a cheaper living compared to UK.
Plus ,if anyone can reccomend a suburb to live in we'd be most grateful.

am sure you have already tried but if you use the advanced search and under username put in scutteruk there may be some info.He has just recently moved there and may be some links in his posts and the replies people posted.
