Why not use Travellers Contact Point?

http://www.travellers.com.au/

We are going to use them until we 'settle' as they will recieve, hold and forward your mail to any address of your choosing for about $100 a year per couple. You can update your address as many times as you like using your login at their website and I believe you can open bank accounts etc using a travellers contact point mailing address too.

Better than a PO Box I reckon?

Take a look and see what you think.

Has anyone used the service and have any feedback?

Yes it seems like one of those things you forget when sorting out a big move to Oz, but we are planning on having a Royal Mail redirect, which will go to our Travellers Contact Point address, and then have it sent to wherever we are in Australia. I just have this weird feeling that among the junk mail there will be something that I will really not want to be in the hands of the people who have bought our flat!

I reckon you can get a Royal Mail International Redirect combined with a Travellers Contact Point account for about £100 for the year, which for peace of mind and simplicity purposes has got to be worth it!

Absolutely agree, £100 well spent.
At least your old flat owners wont come knocking at your door!
