Default can you buy............

This list is from my mum, honest!!!

She would like to know if you can buy these items in New Zealand? (excuse spelling mistakes hehe)

1. Herbal & vitamin supps (i know) but is there a shop like the Holland and Barrats outlets?

2. Is there a boots like chemist or somewhere that sells Nivea face cleansing pads, Nivia tinted daily moisture cream?

3. Does she take fleecy jackets for the North Island?

4. Are there supermarkets like Tesco's? (she likes the bulk buy dog food etc

5. Is there a marks and Spencers type store or should she stock up on undies etc?

6. Is there any catalouge or online shops like Freemans for cloths etc.

I know its sounds a bit silly but you know what mums are like! hehe

Thanks

Right if every one is finished making jokes............................

My folks are going to New Zealand for a few months and my Mum was just wondering if she could get the products mentioned in my first thread or should she stock up on them as she can only use certain products because of whats in some of them.
I am off the Perth in about 3 weeks.

If anyone can help in this matter...................

Thanks

In all seriousness have you tried google - there must be UKgoodies sold in NZ. Have a look at the New Zealand forum:

www.*****.co.uk/chat

They will definitely know.

sorry about the jokes mate to get back to the point saw a program on bbc2 a few weeks ago called geta new life where a couple went to NZ not sure where abouts now but showed them doing a weekly shop at the local supermarket and as far as i could tell they had everything that we have here in the uk but at least one third cheaper so i don't think you mum should worry about pre stocking before she goes plus she would have to take into consideration restrictions on what can be imported to the country .

1. Herbal & vitamin supps (i know) but is there a shop like the Holland and Barrats outlets?

Pharmacies and Supermarkets sell loads of these....there are some specialist health shops too

2. Is there a boots like chemist or somewhere that sells Nivea face cleansing pads, Nivia tinted daily moisture cream?
Youd get things like that at most chemists....dont know about the specific brands, Nivea should be fine

3. Does she take fleecy jackets for the North Island?
Probably to be on the safe side

4. Are there supermarkets like Tesco's? (she likes the bulk buy dog food etc
Yers, Woolworths and Foodtown are two examples

5. Is there a marks and Spencers type store or should she stock up on undies etc?
No Marks and Spencer....but clothes shops all around

6. Is there any catalouge or online shops like Freemans for cloths etc.
Not really...catalogue shopping isnt big in NZ, may be available but not readily

I know its sounds a bit silly but you know what mums are like! hehe

Thanks

FremantleRaider
Hope this helps
