I have tried to put photos on this site but I can't.

Also, when I email them to friends they come out huge!

Please, please help.

You probably need to reduce them using whatever photo editing software you have - for example, if you have MS photoeditor, click on 'image' then 'resize' and reduce it to 50%, or whatever looks right. Can distort the image though, so you're better off reducing it as you scan it in...

For this forum reduce the width of the photo to 600 pixels - should come out OK.

I use this. You can then select the picture in Explorer, right click and select small image.

If you use an ediitor then you often can select 'maintain aspect ratio' when specifying a height or a width and the picture's proportions will be preserved.

Look in GOOGLE for Oscar's JPEG thumbmaker - great little freeware program. Or I'll email it to you.
