Can someone pleeese pleeese tell me how to reduce photos!
I have tried to put photos on this site but I can't.
Also, when I email them to friends they come out huge!
Please, please help.

You probably need to reduce them using whatever photo editing software you have - for example, if you have MS photoeditor, click on 'image' then 'resize' and reduce it to 50%, or whatever looks right. Can distort the image though, so you're better off reducing it as you scan it in...

Microsoft have a got a freebie picture resizer in their power toys for XP (if you use XP, think it stands for XPensive)

Xtra Product perhaps? They got fed up flooding the world with date related products 95, 97, 98 etc and have moved onto other ways of naming their new versions.

If you use an ediitor then you often can select 'maintain aspect ratio' when specifying a height or a width and the picture's proportions will be preserved.

Thank u guys, have now happily sent some photos to family. Still a bit unsure about doing it on this site. Will give it a go.

Look in GOOGLE for Oscar's JPEG thumbmaker - great little freeware program. Or I'll email it to you.
