Can I drink tap water in Perth?
If not do they sell the bottled water 'Volvic', can't stand the other brands.

erm yes! the water is "safe" to drink here and I can't say I've seen volvic here....that's not to say they don't have it, but they are very hot on selling Aussie brands rather than anything else.

I dont drink the tap water here in Geraldton (424k north of Perth) it tastes like crap, but I didn't drink tap water in the UK either, we have hired one of them stand up water coolers/heaters, you put the big bottles on top, the unit was $153 for the year and the water bottles are $15 for 15 litres, ours is from Neverfail and the water is pretty good.
A lot of people have rainwater tanks in the yard, to be fair it does taste pretty good but I just dont like the thought of it myself.

We were advised to NOT drink the water. Hubby decided to go against this advice which had awful consequenses. After just two weeks on the stuff his hair began to grow in the usual Aussie 'Mullet' syle and he was left looking like this....... :scared: ......

try a "brita filter" the wife swares by them. (charcoal inside)
Not that there is a problem with the tap water in Birmingham.
It has an affect, the tea takes on a different colour before you add the milk.
So much for pure water
