Can anyone recommend a decent garage?
Hello,
Can anyone recommend a garage in the Brisbane area for general car stuff, servicing, etc?
Either that or can anyone comment on the trustworthyness (is this a word!?) of Aus garages/mechanics in general - are they all shiesters?

Look out for ones which are RACQ Approved - or ring RACQ and ask for a leaflet listing them. They have to come up to a certain standard or they lose their "approved" status. Also, if you have a problem with an RACQ Approved garage you can complain to them, even if not a member, and they do pay out compensation on a lot of complaints - I know, I used to send the cheques out!
