Can anyone put me up for a week?

If I decide to go to Perth for a week, can anyone put me up?
Could be anytime between Oct & January.
It just depends when I can fit it in between Micky's shifts & holidays. (he's not actually put in for annual leave yet)
He's not stationed till 27/9/02 but has loads of A/L to take.
BTW, he's just about finished his Fire fighter training course.
I know a week aint much but it would give me a wee feel of the place. Michael's already been last year.
My good points - hmmmm
bad points - smoke (not alot & depends what brand ??)
GSOH (well thats debatable)
Like a bit of a  and
Great babysitter (got 4 of my own)

Genuine replies only Baldbutts!
References essential - from me I mean :D

Re: Can anyone put me up for a week?

Well, there's just a wee, teensy weensy change to my plans - my daughter (Amy aged 14)
She's that adamant that she's no migrating. So big discussions/arguments/tears.
I spoke to her dad (my ex hubby) last night about it all and he said:
'Well she's been to Florida and would go there in a minute cos she kinda knows what its like'
So........if I bring her with me for my short visit it would let her (and me) get a feel of the place.

Has anyone ever bought a flight with www.travel.priceline.co.uk where you bid for flights?
Could seemingly get 2 flights for £500 each or less.
But god knows what airline it would be with and the change overs!! how many and how long inbetween.
By the time we got there it might be time to come home again!!

Ma heids up ma a*** at the moment.
Any advice please (eh, and not regarding ma heid thankyou)

Shona xxx Are the staying over offers still on then??

Re: Can anyone put me up for a week?

Get her some pictures of gorgeus hunky surf dudes- there are some lovely looking guys out there.

On a more seious note though try Austravel, Trailfinders and i also use www.expedia.co.uk and www.cheap-flights.co.uk. Dont know if they may be of any use.

How does your ex feel by the way- you are lucky he hasnt tried to stop you! Good luck and will be thinking of you. Give me a call if you would like to.

Love
Nicky

Hi Shona

Bidding for flights sounds erm a touch dodgy, especially when, like Nicky mentioned, you can get a great price with Austravel.

They have deals with all the major airlines flying to Oz, so there are some great deals to be had (and you can definitely get flights for around £500 return). Try their website:
http://www.austravelres.com/cgi-bin/austravel/fares

And yes, I know I sounds like I work for them, but we've used them twice now and can't fault them (they did make a mistake with one of our hotel reservations but upon arrival they'd arranged for us to be upgraded to a 2 BED SUITE..was totally impressed :D )

love sophia xx

PS, Am sure we can find room...just have to hope our furniture's arrived or else we'll all be sleeping on the floor and I'm sure that won't impress your daughter!!! Ah well, I'll just have to make sure there's plenty of
