In reply to where this picture was taken, its definately not Wanaka as myself, husband and family have lived here for 15 months.

The other picture from Tiggerlottie is Wanaka. It shows the Log Cabin which is the Visitor info centre and Lakeland Adventures where I have worked for the past year in the Cafe.

Well that throws it back open then, maybe I should have done a poll. Says much for the South Island if there is so many lookalike places

I think it is Kaikoura as well though it has been a good 8 years since I have driven down there so the memory is a little foggy.

Northeast coast of south island - kind of halfway between christchurch and nelson.

Famous for whale watching

Thanks jandjuk, I see it now. That will fit in perfectly for my next visit (securing job offer, hopefully) which will take in as many places as possible between Chch and Wgtn. Cant wait
