Hi all, fellow wannabe kiwis,
I downloaded this from the internet some time back. fits perfectly as computer wallpaper. I have no idea where it is though....any ideas?

well I'd narrow down to the south island... but that's about as far as I get.
Maybe Te Anau, or Able Tasman Nat Park (though I've never been there so I'm guessing only).
Hard to tell if it's a lake or ocean

Looks to me like Kaikoura on the South Island where we visited a couple of years ago. In fact if the camera moved to the right a bit you could almost 'smell' the seal colony there - nice to look at but there personal hygiene leaves a lot to be desired!! The seals that is not the people of Kaikoura...

Wanaka it is then? I will add it on to my list. Sorry not the best picture quality downloaded here, but you still made it out ok. Cheers.

it's funny I never realised how beautiful wanaka was before. To me it was just another south island lake.
Now, comparing those to the 'mountains' in snowdonia, lakes district, and scotland, I realise what I used to call hills were in fact moutains!
