You can ask the pharmacist for Children's paracetamol if you want a cheaper generic version.
You can also get Children's Ibuprofen. |

have tried loads of alternatives trying to find one that tastes like calpol as my little boy seems to like it and kicks up a huge fuss if we have to give him something different. haven't found anything similar but as the others have said, childrens panadol does the same thing....

I have found Panamax Elixir to be a good substitute regarding taste,comes in tutti fruitti and raspberry,even smells similar.

Bit late for the OP, but we brought heaps (6+!) of calpol with us and mixed it half and half with the Australian childrens Panadol (the white coloured suspension with the boy in the dragon suit on the front) until they got used to it as they were fussy buggers with tastes.
