Hi guys im looking for a bit of the australian lifestyle, can anyone tell me what sort of city Perth is. i.e the people? jobs? crime? is it booming? etc etc.

People are friendly. Plenty of jobs. Moderate crime rate (but generally lower than the Eastern states.) Economy is booming. Property is expensive as a result of the boom.

Its a nice place, lots of sun but not the extremely hot summers of other areas, so too cold for some! Seems loads of immigrants, plenty work and like vash said booming house prices. Good luck and happy reading.
