Default Calling all diabetics

I am diabetic, type II and did the medicals today. I took along a reference from my GP which states that I am diabetic the type of medication and that it is under the control.

However, the examining doctor wants me to go and see a specilist consultant for a more detailed report. My problem is I am leaving for Dubai on Saturday and will not be able to get this done in time. So my questions are:

1. Can I get this done in Dubai?
2. What is this specialist report? What do I ask for?

Anybody else who is a type II had to go through this procedure?

Otherwise everything else was OK, I'm holidng the rest of the family up!!

Thanks

Majj

Hi Majj

I am Type II . We are doing an onshore application as i am already in Adelaide, but the reason they do the extra tests is to assess if you have any organ damage, neuropathy, eye damage etc...you know... all the usual stuff that can go with it. If theres no complications you will be fine.

Majj i use to stay in Dubai and the medical facilitys are excellent, i would contact the relevant authority first (Dimia i suppose) explain the situation and ask them if it is ok to do the test in Dubai?
