Calling 0845 numbers from Oz

Default Calling 0845 numbers from Oz
I have both talk tomato and happy calling cards which give us cheap calls to the uk, but when trying to call an 0845 number the balance on the card is zapped.

Can anyone tell me how to call 0845 numbers without great expense.

We google for an alternative geographic number. Searching on "+44" often helps. For example, Intelligent Finance is 0845 605 8585, but we call on +44 1506 593001 which is the number for their offices in Livingstone.
