Hi Sal

We're coming up in Jan. The 9th would probabably be great!

Looks like it'll just be you and me getting legless!

9th might be good, we will try and make it if no commitments or our money hasn't run out.

Sorry guys I can't make it, we've had to cancel our trip as the inlaws are coming 1st week of Feb.

Will try to make it once they've gone.

 Those frogs really go for it hey?

All ok thanks!
Still not sent my CV in as work going very well just now. Maybe in the New Year?

It would be nice to have an expat meet though as it is quite a while since the last & there must be quite a few new people too!

I'm up for anything, and anywhere (not not quite!):o

Would also offer our house but it would be a case of BYO chairs that is. lol
Still on camp chair.......if any one can give advise on where to get reasonable priced furniture then please let me know as the house is bare!
My Christmas tree will be all alone......

Anyway where abouts is everyone?
I have two children, Lucas who was 5 yesterday and Emilia who will be one in January.

would be great to meet some people, don't know too many yet.

Hi Becky!
We are in Redlynch, 2 boys, 10 & 16 but both seem to have a mental age of a 3 year old!:D
Furniture, Super Amart (Mulgrave RD), Harvey Norman, Freedom (not very cheap but nice!). There is a place off Anderson St, near Brothers, Eureka I think, that also has some nice stuff & Early Settler on Anderson is also worth a look.
Are you waiting for shipping?

Re: CAIRNS MEET

Hi Sally,

We looked at Redlynch, But OH fell in love with this house......only renting at the mo.

Dont all boys have the mental age of a 3 year old, even there dads at times.
How long have you been out here for?

Thanks for the furniture places will have to have a look, been to Super Amart and found something we like but its 2 weeks shipping from Brisbane and I wanted something with a cushion to sit on at Christmas, not too much to ask for is it.......some comfort at the comfortable season, :D
No we are not waiting for anything, we sold everything in the UK and moved over to Perth, did not get alot just essentials, and then when it came to moving over here, we priced up the shipping and it was silly money, so we sold it and spent it all on fuel driving over here, but had fun along the way.

Anyway enough rambling from me, Im terrible for it.....

Bec xx
