Cairns - Construction & Property Consultants & Developers
 

I am a Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) and am moving to Cairns in March 2008. I am doing my homework on property consultant and development companies but can not really seem to find that many in or around Cairns. Can anyone offer any suggestions for some of the larger companies. The usual ones do not seem to have offices in Cairns such as Bovis Lend Lease and Westfield. I am looking to get involved in the post contract side of things & not only do pre-contract surveying. I know there will not be that many but I can not seem to find much at all.

try LDI constructions and the CEC group.

CEC has heaps going on around there at the moment. The other suggestion is BMD as they have the contract to build the upgrade of the main roads around this area.

Hi Shaun - I am a Chartered QS and moved out to Australia in May. I work for a global cost management / project management firm and am now running their Canberra Office. We have an office in Cairns and are working on the new airport at Cairns amungst other things.
