Rental housing market is tight at the moment due to all the construction work in and around Cairns. Cairns is in boom mode. Expect $280 per week for a 3 bed house, if you can find one.

Cairns is spread out due range that forms it's backdrop. Previous info on Cairns suburbs can be found here.

For jobs try www.careersone.com.au. There is a shortage of skilled trades.
