I can confirm that you can get crunchies in Perth - in fact I work for Cadbury's !!!! Got a transfer from Bournville, Birmingham and started here in Feb. Dream job or what !!!!!

Don't manufacture chocolate here in Perth so miss the smell of roasting coco beans which had over in Bournville but never mind the staff chocolate shop is good !!

Bet you're all jealous !!

I had a mint pattie addiction when we first arrived. :) I think i overdid it though....they make me cringe now.

The favorites of mine at the moment are:

White Knights.
Cherry ripes.
Violet Crumbles.
Milky bar chews.

I was home last about 14 months ago....and no, I dont remember seeing a Strawberry Ripe....

I think I might have to try that myself when I get home....Will let ya know what I think....:D :D

I think the main thing I miss the most tho...is Twisties....Cheese...not chicken....and Cheezels....

I occassionally get to the Aussie shop thats in town...and get a fix...but not too often...

You can also buy Dairy Milk with Crunchie bits in it (not really my cup of tea though).

I'm a Cherry Ripe girl myself but I have definitely decided that Picnic Chocettes taste much better than Cherry Ripe Chocettes.

And my childhood love of Mates has come to the fore again. (found them in a local lolly shop).

Didn't realise that I'd missed all these things until I returned from the UK last year.

They've now got bullets with raspberry licorice in them and I have to admit that I'm addicted!!

When I first got back I really pigged out on all the things that I'd missed when I was in the UK i.e.:

Twisties
Cheezels
Barbecue Shapes
Savoury Shapes
Cherry Ripes
Chokitos
Chicos
Clinkers
Bullets
Vanilla Slices
Apple Scrolls
Party Pies

I could go on but you get my drift!!!

No wonder I've put on so much weight since I've been back.
