Default Buying a second hand car in Oz

Can someone please help. When buying a secondhand car from a reputable dealer how much would you expect to get off the 'drive away' price? Don't want to insult anyone but at the same time want to get the best price.

Thanks

Have you thought about contacting the Prime Minister's office?

Depends on the car, but at as this is the best time of the year to negotiate. All they want to do is get the car off the lot before tax time, so they'll probably be willing to deal better than say in a months time.

What is the best interest rate you can get if you want to finance your new car? For how many years? I am talking in general, for a family car (not a luxury)

Thanks

There is an article in one of the main stream papers that states that in NSW the dealers have more or less cleared their stocks. So much for recession!

Apparently the Toyota dealer in Brookvale has dropped almost $10k off a LandCruiser 200 GXL diesel...
