Default Buying new "off plan" property in Australia

Hi There

I'm just starting out on the Emigration process and wondered whether anyone had purchased "off plan" a property in Australia (Western Australia to be more specific) whilst still resident in the UK either as an investment or as a potential property to live in once you arrived in Oz ? Just wondered whether anyone could advise on any Agents, either UK or Oz based who can help facilitate this ?

Many thanks Roger

Hi Roger,
I haven't actually done this myself, but we've also been looking into it. I hope someone on here might be able to shine some light on the best way of going about it. What I have done is contact a lot of actual agents for new house builds, they're happy to contact you and let you know of discounts for off-plan buying. I've spoken to a few agents at Bridgeway homes, AV Jennings and various land estates and they always let you know of the upcoming estates and land packages. You can get some great discounts from house builders also. Hope that helps, even a little bit.

Thanks for this. I've seen plenty of stuff advertised for new developments in Melbourn. They have had a few roadshows in London recently but similar things in Perth or WA generally seem few and far between. Cheers Roger
