Buying a house in Oz - process?
Hi all,
Can anyone tell me/provide a link to the whole homebuying process in Oz please?
Is it similar to the UK with surveying/gazumping/exchanging/completing etc?
Also, does anyone know whether vendor home prices are as flexible in Oz as they are in the UK?
I can't understand on realestate.com.au why some are advertised with a range? $X to $Y . Why bother putting the higher amount? Is the bottom amount the vendor's abloslute minimum.
This baffels me.
Thanks
TC

Here in QLD, your offer is the contract, no gazumping.
