European makes of white goods are almost unheard of here... but the goods that are here are good Best to wait .... cheaper on the move and obviously the exchange rate is going to make things that much cheaper

I saw some whirlpools for about $800 which is what I am looking at when hubbies dies *gets on hands and knees and prays that it is soon*

I bought mine and my sons puter over in a small case that we took on board. Admitedly we only took the components of our computer and left the box and monitor in uk.. bought 2 boxes for $75 (both together) and looking at $130 for 17" monitor second hand from a computer fair *shrug* Seems good value to me..

Computers are becoming competitively priced now as more and more are hitting the market....

Hoovers are dead cheap.

There are many factory outlets here (Melbourne) which sells stuff dirt cheap.

We are looking at about $8-900 for a fridge freezer (Indesit) or approx the same for Westingwood (Good make and very reliable)
