Serious question - when is midwinters day in Aus :confused:



Thing is I've been ere over 2.5 years now and no-one has told me when it is and I may need to get a woolly 'at and gloves.

I dunna wunna get caught out, do I now. :D

I am freezing in Perth. Temps are 19 or 20ish these days and i am bloody freezing. Why does it feel so cold???
19 or 20 is mild.

Never mind cold, I solved that one by pointing out to The Bloke that the reason he was shivering could be becuase he had ALL the doors and windows open at 10.30pm............
Its now WET!!! Lets hope the radar picture stays blue for a few days......somewhere under this lot is Queensland :)

We have one of those older houses in Perth designed to be cool in summer... problem is they are freezing cold at night, we only have one heater in the house which dictates where we spend our evenings...we are advising visitors to bring plenty of wooly jumpers!
day time is great, not to cold and not to hot..

It could be worse.... you could be here in Adelaide. It's been 15 today, feels really cold inside the house:ohmy:.Done nothing but rain for days, and yes i do know we need it. I suppose i've got use to the sun and blue skys:blink:

I'm with you, 20 degrees, feels like I'm living in a walk in fridge. It must be 16 or 17 with the wind chill factor. It's so cold, I'm even wearing a fleece in the morning!

I've been here nearly 2.5 years now ....and haven't seen any frost.
We are going up to Alice for a 'working holiday' ...Carl is working, I'm having a holiday :p:D on Monday for a week ....just looked at a forecast ....Frost risk 'high' :eek::eek: - we are talking about the Alice FFS !!!

Better take lots of woolies and PJs !!!

It must be dissapointing to find out you cant get that woolly gear from the now the Earlville Sheepskin shop has closed . :rofl:
