Business opportunity - driving instructor
Anyone know if a reasonable living can be made as a driving instructor in Oz (Brisbane, specifically)? What does a lesson cost out there, and are UK qualifications accepted?

Don't know rates of pay or lesson prices though, can maybe get some phone no's if you require.

Thanks, but if they're advertised that frequently it may indicate that the pay is cr*p!

Driving lessons, teen had them, they charge $35.00 per hour including GST. I would imagine the overheads of such a business would be quite high tho, by that I mean the Liability Insurance in particular. What cut is left for the instructor I have no idea.
Must be plenty of work tho, learning to drive at 16.5 years is about as compulsory as breathing to the average teen, and I am pretty sure they must have a certain amount of lessons with an instructor prior to the test.
