Bushfires in the Gold Coast?
We are planning on moving to the Gold Coast next April time and haven't yet decided on where exactly we are going to stay. Are there any particular areas/suburbs of the Gold Coast more prone to natural disarsters i.e. bushfires?
We are quite drawn to the Coomera area or suburbs around there.

Yes they had bushfires there about a month ago, and now they are having floods, cars being swept away etc. GC does not usually have many bushfire problems though.
A lot of Coomera's bush is now being cleared for estates so many even fewer fires in the future?
Why Coomera may I ask?
