Default Bunbury

Hi we are thinking of heading to Bunbury and would be grateful for any feedback on the area.

We have 16 year old daughter so info on schools/colleges would be great along with work and housing costs.

Thanks

A couple of websites for you.
www.mybunbury.com
www.southwestlife.com.au
www.australianrecruitments.com (Bunbury based)
Lots of good schools, sporting facilities, etc for your daughter and lots of work opportunities as well. Consider towns close by such as Dardanup, Boyanup and Capel, to name a few. You should be able to find out more about these places of the South West Life website.
Good luck.

Hi just read your thread... We went to Bunbury on hols in Jan. We loved it. A small city of approx 29,000. Prices have gone up alot in the last year & continue to rise. Work can be patchy but alot of guys work for mining companies. A booming place with heaps of potential in our opinion. No taffic either, gotta be a bonus!! I would say it is more like a town & people seem to know people so a small place I suppose. Good schools but growing & changing rapidly. Hope that is useful.

Do a search for a poster called "bridie" in the Lifestyle forum. Bridie lives in Bunbury and is a wealth of information on the place.

Thought I could feel my ears burning!!

Also, do a search of the forum just for Bunbury as there have been a couple of threads recently so would be a good start.
