As far as I'm aware no dentists are bulk bill they are all private

Hi, What does bulk billing denstist mean please?

Bulk Billing means when you go to the doctors or wherever it cost no money , where as the doctor I go to charges $50 and then i go to medicae and get back $30 odd, but dentist do not do this

Just came back a couple of hours ago, $210 for about 40 mins work.

$70 for the examination, $140 for the clean & scrape.

If you qualify for a healthcare card from centrelink (don't have to be on a centrelink benefit), you can go to the public dental clinics but there are very long waiting lists for some treatments ie; replacing or updating dentures.

They charge me 25% of the going rate (as determined by fed gov), gov subsidises the remaining 75% and you can ask for an account to be sent out (at least at my clinic you can).
