:scared: Hi everyone we have a slight problem with the nasty cockroach that get in to your cupboards does anyone know how to kill :scared: kill :scared: kill :scared: them, is it best to use supermarket pesticides or just get the man who can in to do it?

Baits are good... use the ones from the supermarket that kill off the nest rather than the instant death ones, then they go elsewhere to die, rather than your house lounge or whatever.
You can squash them but bear in mind their eggs can last a while in the grip of a shoe or whatever, but it's rare they hatch in this manner. They're messy though when you squash them.
You can also get outdoor sprays which you spray at their points of entry, drains etc. You can get 'professional' sprays to do yourself too ...
