my wife is from Foxbar (Paisley) and is worried she won't be able to get her fave tipple, Buckfast in Oz:confused:

Its a quality wine only served in Michelin starred restaurants. Made by monks in Buckfast abbey, in Devon

You can buy it by the glass in Bondi... But its expensive.


also there was a few lads from N.Ireland were importing the stuff into Brisbane.

Bucky is sold in a few places in Melbourne. There is an off license on chapel street that stocks it regularly.

My girlfriend went off to work as a cook for the Duke of Devonshire and then onto the Marquis of Hartington (at Bolton Abbey). At that time I was in uni in Birmingham and the relationship didn't survive the distance.

The Bogan 300cu 'big block' choice.:p for when the Ford Falcon 4l is not enough....

I go for the more refined 2l cask - European style. Not so fast or powerful, better handling. More expensive too.

It's for jakeys and winos! Us cultured Scotsmen from the East side prefer a nice Chateau Lafite-Rothschild. And proper sauce on our chips too.
