Smile BTEC National Diploma in Sports Development and Fitness

Hi Guys.... Not sure whether i am on the right page......
My question is regarding UK Qualifications being recognised in Australia. I have a BTEC National Diploma in Sports Development and Fitness (Level 3, Sports Science). I was wondering if anybody knows what it is equivelent to in Australia? Is it worth anything?

Thank you

No you are not on the right page. . A new thread is best for your own new query, maybe ask a moderator to move.

Are you trying to work this out for a visa or for job applications? If for jobs, well I wouldn't overthink it, people generally know what a diploma is and will not be scratching their heads wondering what the Australian equivalent is should your CV land on the desk.

But would a diploma be enough as a qualification to apply for a job and get a visa?

Two very separate questions. What is required for a visa is not the same as what is required for a job. Can you clarify which you wish to pursue.

Is fitness instructor on the skills list? I'd have thought Australia was overflowing with degree level fitness instructors. Sport Science is a big thing in Aus Unis. Have a look and see if it's there and what the requirements are.
