brokers

Has anyone had any experience with using shipping brokers? Or do you all just go direct to the shippers? We have been given a number of a broker by our agent, but I'm not sure if there is much benefit to this? Any thoughts...

Don't shipping brokers just arrange the containers etc ? and you would need to do the packing etc.

If thats what you are after, it would probably be a lot cheaper, but would involve more work and organisation.

My nephew works for Patrick over here in Brisbane, and I think he is involved in arranging containers all over the world.
