Broadband suggestions please
We are in Melbourne and looking to get a broadband connection. Can anyone let me what experiences they've had and the prices they pay. I know theres quite a few out there and varying plans. Were looking for a reliable connection (Well the best possible) at a reasonable price ($50-70)

The reason is I do not want to share a connection with the types that want unlimited connections (they can shaft bandwidth) and the excess GB charge are low at $5 a GB.
The connection and e-mail have not gone down on me and connection was completed within a week.

Hopefully one day broadband in oz will be as good and cheap as in canada (2mb up and down, no install fee $40 including modem rental) Probably my most missed thing about canada

Some plans offer free modems or activation but check the small print as they will tie you in for 2 years.
I bought a billion 741GEV2 for $180 but that is over the top for your average home user.

I'm with bondipom at swiftel, been very good so far. I got the 1500/256 plan and it's about $104 per month. The speed is fantastic!
