Broadband - how do you decide which?
Hi
we have been using dial up and it is slowwwww, when I look for broadband it is so confusing.
I used to have aol broadband in the UK and it was great.
We need to be able to download music (we have teenagers) and need relatively effecient speed.
We are in Sydney.
Any ideas which option might suit us?

First of all............... DONT GO WITH TELTRA BIGPOND.
Now look at http://www.whirlpool.net.au/
iinet and westnet are good options

We have had Bigpond for nearly a year.....and it's fine.

Basically what it means is ADSL2 is 45 times faster than the 256 standard installations that you see quoted in the newspapers.
whats more it's about the same price. IInet were the first to start advertising adsl 2
