Another vote for iinet. We have been with them for almost 3 years and never had a problem.

Funniest line on Rove last night was when he was talking about how the Chinese have installed software to stop the internet working - it is called Telstra BigPond!!!

We don't have a choice here - Telstra count us as rural () and the local exchange is full so it is Bigpond or wireless. Having said that, while our Bigpond is slow it has been reliable since they sorted a fault at the exchange a year ago. By all accounts iinet is the way to go if you can get it and want something more than the basic.

Re: Broadband?
We are with Westnet and have had no probs, just joined up to their broadband - although I was happy with dial up.
We have 5 peak and 7 off peak for $45 a month.
OMG I am finding it so fast compared to what I had.

I have also used TPG who are cheap but have a crappy network and no service. I also used AANet who are cheap but they could not keep a mail server up and running. I am now with Internode who are very reliable but not cheap.
