Brits In Gladstone(Qld)
Hi all,
Where waiting on our decision on visa at moment, but when we get the go ahead we will be heading for the Gladstone area of Queensland. Any ex-pats living out that way. We stayed in Tannum/Boyne Island last year and thought it was a great place to live.

Just our personal view, but we stayed over in Gladstone earlier this year on the way up to the Whitsunday coast, thought it was a bit of a dump. Perhaps shouldn't really comment as we were only there an afternoon and evening. Also on the news the other day, they are expecting the intensive care unit to close down at the hospital because of staff shortages! this may tell you something!
