OMG!!

I wish I hadnt asked now.... :scared:

I have to say, I have found since arriving back home in Oz I am eating far less stodge, compared to the UK.

I eat a lot more salads and fruit & Veg..the fruit here is so much better than anything I had in the UK. Grilled fish, as opposed to that greasy stuff in the UK, Roast chicken instead of "American Styled Fried Chicken"...

I have started cooking at home alot more than I ever really wanted to in the UK....

This is all just the differences I have noticed in my little world, and I in no way suggest that its the norm....

Add sodium hydroxide (caustic soda) - instructions on the tin - and make your own (laundry) soap. Use a copper vessel.

Remember to rend it very slowly at first and skim off the meaty bits leaving a near white tallow before adding the caustic.

Oh, and if caustic is not to hand, make lyre from wood ashes.
