British Pound recovers against A$ and NZ$

British Pound recovers against A$ and NZ$
Lots of volatility in the exchange rates so thought it would be useful to post some commentary from our dealers ....

The Great British Pound has continued to soar in overnight trading against the Aussie and Kiwi dollar. In New York trade it reached a high of 2.3500 and 2.7750 respectively. Recent gains have seen the cross rate jump over 5% since last weeks lows near 2.2300 Aussie dollars and 4% against the Kiwi since last weeks lows of 2.6560.
Tonight sees the release of inflation data followed by tomorrow nights Bank of England inflation report and Thursdays retail sales which are all likely to impact the currency.
