Question British Maternity, living in Australia

Hi Guys,

If our visa's are granted whilst my partner is on Maternity and we migrate over - Are we still entitled to claim UK Statuary Maternity Pay for the remaining weeks that we would of been entitled to in the UK?

Cheers

Andrew

If you mean government benefits then no because they are for residents.

Yes you are entitled to ALL maternity benefits irrespective of where you happen to be on your maternity leave. Child benefit is a no though you MUST declare the date you leave the UK.
