British curry in Brisbane

British curry in Brisbane
Hi
I am in Brisbane on Business this week and I am after advice on getting the name of a really good Curry House I can bring my Oz collegue to.I have briefly looked at links on this site.
However,their are loads,we have a hire car so transport isnt an issue but I would like any information on a place where anyone can recommend that we can get a curry that is close to the type of fodder that we can get back in the uk.
All replies and advice will be much appreciated

Quite a few people swear by The Spice Avenue, Birkdale (Bayside area of Brissie).

It is actually the "Best British Style Indian Curry in Australia" not just Brisbane 
They moved here from Birmingham ..

I have tried almost 40 different curry houses on the North and South side of Brisbane in the 5 years I have been here. Most are absolutley awful - believe me go to:

I completely agree, spice avenue is awesome we went there as they have a restaurant in wolverhampton where we are from, loved it and havent found a good one since.
