Default Brissie Accom on arrival

Can anyone recommend places to stay in or around Brisbane CBD on arrival for about a month. I know this has come up before, but the suggestions are based on 3/4 beds and families - bit expensive. There are only 2 of us and working to a budget of sorts until we get jobs - ideally furnished, want to get off the plane and get straight in, then explore next day .

Have you tried www.domain.com.au or www.realestate.com.au under rentals you'll find a section for Holiday Rentals.

Ahh sorry, yes I just re-read it. Well we stayed in a backpackers place when we went 18 months ago so can't recommend anything from personal experience but I'm sure someone on here will.
