Default Brisbane Temperature 23rd October

For those interested in the Maximum Temperatures in the region:

Brisbane temperature maximums today:

Ipswich, Amberley Airport 38.5°C

Acacia Ridge, Archerfield Airport 38.3°C

Brisbane City, 38.1°C

Redcliffe, 36.7°C

Bayside, Brisbane Airport 30.5°C (Must be those Bayside breezes in action)

and

Gold Coast 32.1°C

Sunshine Coast 33.4°C

Yes, It did feel a bit warm today, and I'm in the area that only got 30°C !

Spent 3 hours at the swimming pool today !!

Been much the same in Glasgow all week too,even bought the kids a great kite yesterday,went out in the afternoon for a spot of kite flying & the wind decided to drop & this morning not even a breath of wind!! Typical!!

Lucky so n so
I was wet through all day as well, only dif. was I was tiling main floors on a rush job. 38.4 local temp and very humid after all the rain we've just had

Hi Eric! We were at Vicky Point school fete and it was HOT! Spent afternoon in pool but not complaining as in 2 mths I'll be in happy harwich England in the freezing cold! Will treasure these moments until we return!

Yup it's the same in the south (Slough) too, been windy all week and today (sat) it is damp, grey and 'orrible, with a hot temp of 16 C expected!!! (can't wait)

When we left our house in Scarborough the car reported 34 degs (right by the coast so we get the breezes). We went 15 mins inland to the shops and the temperature increased to 39 degs. When I got out of the car I thought I was gonna die.

Just goes to show what a difference those sea breezes make!!
