Brisbane - surf spots NEAR! And used cars!!
For someone without a car - im only here for 3 months and can't get my head around how expensive they are - where are some good surf spots near bris I can reach by train?
Why oh why is Brisbane landlocked! Dear god!! Stoopid me assumed it was on the beach
I bought a '98 suburu forestor in NZ for $7500. Here the same model costs at a dealer $24000
What about a 2nd hand Toyota? 1990 Toyota Cressida with OVER 200,000K on the clock = $4,500!!
Are these typical prices?

You can get to Surfers Paradise by combination of train to Nerang, then bus on to Surfers. It takes about an hour all up.
