It was good but my little girl was frightened so we had to leave early.

We just got back , had a great time. The kids loved it !!!

I don't think your allowed on the river using a boat as its is a restricted zone during the fireworks.

We will def be doing it again next year

You can queue up beforehand to get one of the free passes for boats.

A friend of mine went on a boat a couple of years back, only his own little boat, just him and a couple of mates. They were under one of the bridges - he said you could get quite close, and it was a fab view

Don't wanna upset Media Player right now ...

Fair play for the effort in uploading pics. I know what effort is involved ...

Karma to you!

When it was on I said to Nic "see! ... we coulda been up there on the river!" ... but after seeing a bit more of the show I wondered how close you could actually get? ...

Anyway, looked bloody good on the TV at home ...

My apartment is about 300m away from where the fireworks for with a balcony facing right at them!

Unfortunately jetlag caught up with me and even tho I set 4 alarms I slept right through them and woke up at 8.30pm when they'd finished I'm gutted.

On that note, I'm in Brisbane for another 11 days or so if anyone can reccomend a good pub/nightclub and wants to meet up for a drink...
