BRISBANE or MELBOURNE ??
Im thinking of Brisbane or Melbourne . I am a social worker and support foster carers and my husband is in I.T and does networking . Does anyone know the best place to live for I.T jobs ? Melbourne or Brisbane or elsewhere ? thanks to anyone who replies

- higher salaries
- beaches (Brisbane has mud flats)
- light evenings
- stunning European CBD
- skiing in winter
- etc etc

Melbourne - for all of the above! 
I also work in IT, in Brisbane. Cost of living versus typical salaries Melbourne is a much better bet. A much more enjoyable city to be in as well IMO.
