Brisbane meet
 

Hi, Seems that there are a lot of families going out to the Brisbane, Sunshine/Gold coast areas later this year. Anyone think it would be a good idea to organise a meet, say November/ December 2004 in Oz to celebrate and share experiences etc. regarding the trials and tribulations of our first year?

Great idea, although perhaps early next year would be better, give people a little time to settle in...(Oh and did I mention we will be there by then.)

We would love to meet up, but won't be arriving until end of Dec /Jan. Maybe you could have a second meet for us new arrivals!

Same as Tina we only get there at the end of Feb maybe have a every 3 month meet up ? To allow for new arrivals

Yes please, good idea every 3 months or so, we hope to be there early next year as well.:cool:

Looks like there is enough support and numbers for a meet, some have indicated an earlier meeting, and as several of you are not going out till Jan/Feb 2004 how does everyone feel about meeting in March/ April 2004 where we can arrange another meet for later in the year.
I am not sure how to take this from here, as we are still waiting for Visas and can't make definite plans till we have them.
Perhaps someone who has the go-ahead can take this from here.
