Default Brisbane Hotels

Looking for any recommendations from those in Brissy.

We are arriving on the 18th July and Im going to book us into a nice hotel for a couple of nights before we have to Hostel it while waiting to get a flat.

Nothing too outrageous, but a good hotel in and around the city.

Any help and info would as usual be greatly appreciated

Cheers

Jamie

It all depends on how much you want to spend.

It would be a treat but not too extortianate.

Reckon about a ton a night?

The Marriott seems the cheapest from what i can tell so far.

The Good - Rydges hotel on the South Bank is very good, just a short walk into the CBD, the South Bank on it's door step which provides ample eatiing facilities etc. I've stayed there a few times now and couldn't fault it .

The Bad - The Astor (Wickham terrace) - never again!

Regards

Scot

Cheers everyone.

Ive decided on "The Rydges" in Southbank. Great place to start our adventure I reckon.

$477 in total for 3 nights, queen room with balcony.

Then on the Monday, hostel time!!

Thanks again
