Hi all, we arrive into Brisbane from USA in August and are researching schools for our 2 boys in the Wilston and Windsor areas. Has anyone experience/involvement with either of these schools?
Thanks in advance,

Not sure that we have many other posters that live around here these days, but someone else might reply in the morning

Kids have done music camp at Windsor and stuff at Windsor and seems like a good school. It has a pretty good reputation for a state school.

Both my children (2 boys) went all the way throught their primary education at Wilston, they loved it we made great friends and you will be making the right desicion if you send your children there. Be aware they have strict catchment area guidelines so make sure you move into the right street but honestly we loved it, they have their School Fete on the 7th September so if you get a chance to pop into it you will see the great community feel the school has, also there is a great bakers just at the end of the school oval for afternoon tea

Can't speak as a parent, only as a neighbour, but Windsor State School has a really good reputation. Its a nice fairly affluent area (goodness knows how I got to live in it!!). Kids are always polite and smart, school is well looked after, and the parents and teachers always friendly enough to the locals who try and squeeze past the cars parked on the pavement!
